About the TMaaS API’s
We’ve developed two TMaaS API’s – one that contains contains the open data from TMaaS and the proprietary data of the partners. This API access key can only be shared with parties who have come to an agreement with the TMaaS consortium. Without an agreement of the consortium it will not be possible to receive the proprietary data. For the open data, no agreement is necessary and the public TMaaS access key will be available. The two TMaaS APIs are divided in 3 API’s handling one specific category of data, namely points of interests (POI), traffic events, and parking information.
What is an API?
An API, short for “application programming interface,” is a software-to-software interface. Meaning, it provides a secure and standardized way for applications to work with each other and deliver the information or functionality requested without any user intervention.
